“Brooke is amazing and I couldn’t be more happy with my brows.

She’s so sweet and professional. I was nervous to trust someone with my face but shes great at selecting the correct color/shape that looks natural. Seriously, these hair strokes looks REAL! The healing process was painless, thanks to her magical healing ointment that you’ll get to go home with. I highly recommend going to her for any type of semi permanent make up. Brooke you’re a true artist! Thank you SO MUCH!”

Brow Pre-Appointment Prep (dooo it!)

  • If you have undergone chemotherapy, it is essential to obtain clearance from your doctor before proceeding with the treatment.

  • Avoid Botox and microdermabrasion treatments near the brow area, and stop using products containing alpha hydroxy acids (AHA) or glycolic acids around the brows to prevent irritation and ensure the skin is in optimal condition

  • Discontinue the use of fish oil supplements to minimize bleeding and improve pigment retention during the procedure.

Don’t forget to fill out your medical form upon booking!

  • Avoid consuming caffeine (coffee, caffeinated tea, or energy drinks), alcohol, and blood thinners such as aspirin, ibuprofen, niacin, or vitamin E.

    Tylenol is acceptable if needed.

Reducing these substances minimizes bleeding during the procedure, leading to better pigment retention and optimal healing results.

  • Make sure you have eaten, are well-rested, and have not engaged in exercise. Proper nourishment and rest help prepare your body for the procedure and support a smoother healing process afterward. Arrive with your natural brows—there is no need to shave or pluck them beforehand.

    Bringing reference photos is encouraged!

    • Menstrual Cycle: You may experience heightened sensitivity to pain during your menstrual cycle, so scheduling accordingly can help manage discomfort.

    • Medications: Be sure to disclose any medications you are taking, particularly antibiotics or Accutane, as these can affect the outcome of the procedure.

    • Skin Conditions: If you have sunburn, eczema, psoriasis, or active breakouts in the treatment area, it is best to reschedule your appointment to ensure safe and optimal results.

Now, it’s your turn to shine by giving your fresh brows, liner, or lips a little extra love and care. Following these aftercare steps isn’t just important; it’s everything when it comes to ensuring your new look heals beautifully and lasts as long as possible.

Think of it this way—your fresh tattoo is like a piece of fine art (because it is!), and just like any masterpiece, it needs proper care to stay stunning. Whether you’re sporting perfect brows, smudge-proof eyeliner, or kissable lips, keeping things clean, hydrated, and protected from the sun will help everything settle into place just right.

Don’t worry—I’ll walk you through each step with easy-to-follow instructions in the video below. It’s quick, painless (this time!), and totally worth it. So grab a cozy seat, press play, and let’s make sure your fabulous new look stays flawless for the long haul!

Brow Aftercare Instructions (glow and heal!)

A little patience goes a long way! It can take up to 6 weeks for your new look to fully heal and reveal its true color, so don’t be surprised if things look a bit bold at first—it’s all part of the process. Touch-ups are typically scheduled between 6 to 10 weeks to perfect those final details. Trust the process, follow your aftercare instructions, and soon enough, you’ll be rocking your beautifully healed results!

  • For 1 week post-procedure, refrain from applying makeup on treated areas, exposing the area to direct sunlight or tanning beds, and picking or scratching the treated skin to prevent irritation and uneven healing.

For 2 weeks post-procedure, avoid steamy showers, heavy sweating, and direct sun exposure. Long-term, steer clear of anti-aging or acne products around the brow area, as they may fade the pigment prematurely.

  • Gently cleanse the area.

Apply the provided balm 3 times daily for 7 days to keep the area hydrated and promote optimal healing.

  • Allow any scabs to fall off naturally—don’t force them. Keep in mind that the initial color will appear more vibrant but will soften as healing progresses.

Wash the treated area gently within 4 hours post-procedure. Continue washing morning and night for 3 days to keep the area clean and free from bacteria.

For any concerns or unusual symptoms during the healing process, please contact Lure Studio at 480-442-1827 or lurestudioaz@gmail.com.

Sticking to these guidelines is the secret sauce to getting gorgeous, long-lasting results from your permanent makeup!

 EYEBROW FAQs

  • Microblading is a cosmetic tattoo procedure in which a small hand tool and a blade, comprised of a number of needles, are used to create small cuts in the skin to mimic the look of hair. Microblading can last anywhere from 1-5+ years depending on the pigments used, skin type, and lifestyle.

Microblading is truly only a fit for about 5% of clients! Those with Youthful, healthy skin, little to no pores, fine brow hair throughout the majority of the brow, and normal to dry skin. This technique also has a shelf life! No matter the skin type, Microbladed strokes start to expand over time and no longer resemble the once crisp/fine “hair-like” stroke in the skin. Also, think about it, we can not keep cutting open the same cuts year after year with touch-ups. It will cause scar tissue! We are very particular about who we microblade, in order to give good both short and long-term results!

  • Generally, no. Each person has a different pain tolerance, but consistent application of a topical anesthetic is applied throughout the duration. Most clients are very comfortable, but if you do not respond well to the topical anesthetic, there may be discomfort.

  • Certain skin conditions in the brow area, medications, and skin types may prohibit you from being a candidate for any eyebrow service. Please contact us if you have any questions about being a candidate in general! Things like pregnancy, temporary use of a skin product, sunburns, etc. may temporarily prohibit getting the service done! Please visit the pre-care instructions for more information on how to prepare for an appointment!

  • Powder brows have many names! Machine brows, shading, form of ombre brows, just to name a few! Regardless of the term, it is a cosmetic tattoo treatment for the enhancement of your brows to create a fuller appearance. Powder brows can range from a soft dust of color, to defined but natural, to a more intense healed result, depending on your goals! Results can last anywhere from 2-5+ years depending on the pigments used, technique, skin type, lifestyle, and upkeep.

Powder brows are great for all skin types, most ages, and brows! In our opinion, it can be the most natural option, is the most predictable and best looking long term, and above all, less traumatic for our skin!

  • No! There is a huge difference between cosmetic tattoos and makeup. Makeup sits on top of the skin and underneath the hair. It is buildable and can create texture and density. Cosmetic tattoos sit underneath the hair and skin. Our skin will always act as a “filter” and make it appear softer. Also, over-saturating brow cosmetic tattoos, in order to attempt to replace makeup, lead to poor long-term results. Cosmetic Tattoos are meant to make your life easier, but not meant to replace a makeup routine! There are certain things that should be left up to makeup and certain things that cosmetic tattooing can achieve.

  • Everyone is different! On average, 2 sessions. An initial session and a touch-up 6-12 weeks from the first appointment. Due to the uniqueness of each individual and the superficial nature of the tattoo itself additional sessions could be needed. Touch-ups provide an opportunity to assess how your skin responds to the procedure and are an opportunity to make any adjustments necessary while also lengthening longevity. Touch-up sessions are not included in the initial price.

Long-term, maintenance touch-ups will be needed every 18-36 months on average to maintain shape and colo

  • We do not offer touch ups on other artists work. In order for us to properly and successfully cover old eyebrow pmu (permanent make up), it must be significantly faded (80-90%).

Working over previous work can be tricky and all depends on its current state, and health of your skin. All cover ups must be pre-approved before booking. Please email photos in natural lighting, with no make up on the brows.
